Esther 7:
1. So the king and Haman came to banquet with Esther the queen
2.And the king said again unto Esther on the second day of the banquet of wine, What is thy petition, queen Esther? And it shall be granted to thee: and what is thy request? And it shall be performed, even to half of the kingdom
Esther 6:
1.On that night could not the king sleep and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before him
Wisdom: decoying Haman
In the last reflection, the king held out his golden Sceptre to Esther to indicate she was being granted the favour to state her request, even if the kingdom was in it. The kingdom it should be but this wasn’t the pressing issue now: the life of a race was at stake.
Esther 5:
1. Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king’s house, over against the king’s house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house
My Eyes to Golgotha
We’ve been reflecting on the book of Esther in the Bible. A decree was sent to carry out a genocide on the Jews, the people of Esther, the queen, albeit the king who was a party to it was unaware of the self damage he was about to inflict on himself. Esther got to know about this sentence of death and destruction on her ethnicity only when the nephew of her father made a one man protest in the front of the gate of the king. Esther on learning that the nephew of her late father was in sackcloth and ashes at the king’s gate sent to know the why and how.
Esther 4:
4. So Esther’s maids and her chamberlain came and told it her. Then was the queen exceedingly grieved, and she sent raiment to clothe Mordecai, and to take away his sackcloth from him but he received it not
Power to Perceive and feel the Depth of God
Esther 4:
1. When Mordecai perceived all that was done, Mordecai rent his clothes, and put on sackcloth, and went out into the midst of the city. And cried with loud and bitter cry;
Esther 3:
11. And the king said unto Haman, The silver is given unto thee, the people also, to do with them as it seemeth good unto thee

2. And all the king’s servants that were in the king’s gate, bowed and reverenced Haman: for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai bowed not nor did him reverence.

Esther 3:
1. After these things did the king Ahasuerus promote Haman the son of Hammadaatha the Agagite and advanced him, and set his seat above all the princes that were with him
